GB East Invitational:

8/28/08 JV Red defeated WDPHS 3-0.
Brandon scored once, Kyler
scored once and two assists including an outstanding cross to the
inside that
was an equally outstanding header by Jacob. |

8/28/08 JV White started their
high school journey with inspired play against an older and bigger
Luxemburg
team. Cole scored 3 minutes in. We gave ground and
eventually gave
up a bad goal on a defensive break down. The second half was
owned by the
birds with inspired play and goals by Dylan, Austin and Evan. A
Win
4-1. Everyone played well.

9/2/08 The Boys JV White soccer team defeated
Sheyboygan North 3-1. Cole and Evan both had a goal and an assist while
Michael also
contributed
with one goal. Austin had a great game with more than 13
saves. |

9/25/08 After holding a 2-0
lead in the 1st half, JV Red ended
the game in a 2-2 tie against Bay Port. Our 1st goal
was headered by Eric with an assist by Sean. The
2nd goal was assisted by Michael T. for Sean to score. Chet
had a busy night with over 14 saves in the goal. There were a few
"opportunities" in the second half, but we struggled to get the ball to
the goal.

9/25/08 JV White won 1-0
against Bay Port. |

9/30/08 JV Red played
against an aggressive Sheboygan North team to lose
1-3. The goal was scored by Michael T., assisted by TJ. A few
other attempts were made, but missed the mark.

9/30/08 JV White lost 3-4 against Sheboygan
North in a close game with
some questionable ref calls against us, one which caused the losing
point. All in all, the boys fought hard in a tough loss. |

Results for Sat, 10/4/08: Red Devil Invitational @
Broadview. After a 0-0 tie, the JV Red won
the 1st game vs. Sturgeon Bay in a 3-1 shootout score. Brandon K.,
Max and Kyle each scored in the shootout. Chet did an awesome job
stopping Sturgeon Bay in the goal. We won 1-0 in Game 2 vs. GB East
after Michael T. scored the only goal of that game. We played a tough
Preble team in Game 3 and lost 1-4. Max scored our goal that game,
after a quick break away to score. JV Red finished in 2nd
place in the Invitational after playing some very exciting games.

10/07/08 JV Red vs. GB
Southwest game ended in a 1-1 tie in a very raining, messy night. Grahm
scored the only goal in a very closely played match.

10/9/08 JV Red vs.
Ashwuabenon The guys fought hard, outshooting (14-11)out corner
kicking their opponent(7-1) but lost 1-2 with Max Armstrong scoring the
lone goal for he Redbirds.

10/14/08 JV Red vs.
Southwest. A familiar foe having played them only a week ago and
despite outshooting them (16-9)ending with a similar tie score 0-0.

10/16/08 JV Red vs.
Notre Dame. A huge game for the Red team and everyone was up for it.
Although being outshot 11-5, it was quality of shots that mattered.
Controlling most of the game we ended up victorious 2-1 Kyle Rourke and
Eric Voss both scoring goals for De Pere

10/18/08 JV Red vs
Bayport. Another big game for us in more than one way. The Pirates sent
down a senior Varsity player and several Juniors. The guys
played very well and proved themselves against another
quality team dispite losing 2-1. Cole Holewinski scored for the 'Birds
